The CLEAN events (CLEAN GULF, CLEAN PACIFIC and CLEAN WATERWAYS) serve as a place for the emergency and spill response community to gather face-to-face for networking, learning and sharing.
We are currently facing a new reality fighting a global pandemic and are all stepping back from large gatherings, even if it means disruption of business or denying us the ability to catch up with friends. Some countries and states have even placed a full lock down of their citizens, with exceptions to the most vital services.
Among those vital services is the disinfecting and decontamination of business and sites in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. We know this community of emergency and spill response professionals are out there doing these services and we salute you.
During this time of uncertainty, we would like to be a resource for you to turn to. We will be providing important coronavirus coverage and industry updates as the situation evolves. We also want to serve as a platform to network, share company updates and spread positivity as we navigate these difficult times.
We are all in this together, and we think coming together as a community will help get us through it together. The CLEAN brand was founded 30 years ago with the start of CLEAN GULF, and it has survived some challenging times. We know we’ll get through this one.
We’re promoting the hashtag #cleaneventsproud and we invite you to use it in any posts related to battling COVID-19, company updates, positive stories your company has to share or if you want to show the CLEAN events some love.
Feel free to reach out to me personally (cbuchholtz@accessintel.com) if you have an important message you feel the emergency and spill response community needs to hear.
Stay safe and healthy,
Carey Buchholtz
